Welcome to LapBazar. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of LapBazar.pk, your visits to our physical shop, and any order placed through our website, WhatsApp, telephone, social-media channels or another approved sales channel.

By accessing our website, creating an account, placing an order or purchasing a product from LapBazar, you agree to these Terms and Conditions together with our:

Shipping Policy;
Return and Refund Policy;
Warranty and Checking Policy; and
Privacy Policy.

Please read these terms carefully before placing an order.

About LapBazar

LapBazar sells used laptops, tablets, computers, accessories and selected open-box products.

Eligibility to Place an Order

By placing an order, you confirm that:

You are legally capable of entering into a purchase contract;
The information you provide is complete and accurate;
You are placing the order for a lawful purpose;
You are authorized to use the selected payment method; and
You intend to receive and pay for the confirmed order.

Where a customer is not legally capable of entering into a contract independently, the order must be placed or approved by a parent, guardian or other legally authorized person.

LapBazar may refuse, hold or cancel an order where the customer’s identity, address, payment, contact details or purchasing authority cannot reasonably be verified.

Product Condition

LapBazar primarily sells used products. We may also sell open-box products where this is clearly stated in the relevant listing.

Used and open-box products may show reasonable signs of handling or previous use, including:

Light scratches;
Small marks;
Minor dents;
Keyboard shine;
Normal body wear;
Packaging wear; or
Other cosmetic characteristics described in the listing.

These cosmetic characteristics do not constitute a fault where they were disclosed before purchase or are reasonably consistent with the stated product condition.

Customers should read the full product description, specifications, condition details and warranty information before ordering.

Product Information and Images

LapBazar aims to provide accurate product information, including:

Brand and model;
Processor;
Memory;
Storage;
Display;
Product condition;
Included accessories;
Price;
Stock status; and
Applicable warranty.

However, minor typographical, formatting or technical errors may occasionally occur.

Product images are intended to represent the product being offered. Lighting, photography, screen settings and image compression may cause minor colour or appearance differences.

Where a material specification, price or product detail has been entered incorrectly, LapBazar may correct the listing, contact the customer for confirmation or cancel the affected order.

No customer will be required to accept a materially different product without being informed.

Used and Individual-Unit Stock

Many used and open-box products are available as individual units.

A product appearing as “In Stock” does not guarantee availability until:

The order has been confirmed;
The required payment has been received and verified; and
LapBazar has reserved the unit for the customer.

A product may be sold through our shop, website, WhatsApp or another sales channel before the online stock status is updated.

If an ordered product becomes unavailable, LapBazar may offer:

An equivalent alternative;
Store credit;
A different available product; or
A refund of the amount received for the unavailable item.

The customer is not required to accept an alternative product.

Prices

Product prices are displayed in Pakistani Rupees unless otherwise stated.

Listed prices may include free standard nationwide shipping where specified.

LapBazar may change prices at any time before an order is confirmed. A price change will not normally affect an order for which:

The product has been confirmed;
The required payment has been received and verified; and
LapBazar has accepted the order.

If a pricing error is identified, LapBazar may contact the customer and offer the option to:

Proceed at the correct price; or
Cancel the order and receive a refund of the amount paid.

LapBazar is not required to supply a product at an obvious or unintended pricing error.

Order Placement

An order may be placed through:

LapBazar.pk;
WhatsApp;
Telephone;
Our physical shop;
An official LapBazar social-media channel; or
Another sales channel approved by LapBazar.

Submitting an order does not automatically mean that LapBazar has accepted it.

An order becomes confirmed only after:

Product availability has been checked;
Customer and delivery information has been verified;
The applicable payment requirement has been completed;
Payment has been successfully verified; and
LapBazar confirms acceptance of the order.

LapBazar may contact the customer before acceptance to verify the order, delivery address, payment method and product details.

Payment Requirements

Payment requirements depend on the customer’s delivery location.

Customers Outside Rawalpindi and Islamabad

For delivery outside Rawalpindi and Islamabad:

Full advance payment is required;
Payment must be received and verified before dispatch;
A screenshot alone does not constitute verified payment; and
The order will be processed after the funds are confirmed in LapBazar’s account.

Customers Within Rawalpindi and Islamabad

Customers within Rawalpindi and Islamabad may either:

Visit the LapBazar shop, inspect the product and complete payment at the shop; or
Request local delivery by paying a 10% advance, with the remaining 90% payable at delivery.

The product will only be reserved or prepared after the required advance payment has been received and verified.

The delivery representative may require the remaining payment before handing over or allowing the parcel to be opened, depending on the confirmed arrangement.

Official Payment Details

Customers must only send payment using account information officially provided by LapBazar.

LapBazar will not be responsible for payments sent to:

An incorrect account;
An unauthorized person;
A fake social-media profile;
An unverified telephone number; or
Payment details not officially confirmed by LapBazar.

Customers should contact our official WhatsApp number if they are uncertain about payment instructions.

Payment Verification

LapBazar may ask the customer to provide:

Transaction ID;
Payment receipt;
Bank reference;
Wallet-transfer reference; or
Payment screenshot.

An order is considered paid only when the required funds have been received and verified.

Where a payment is reversed, disputed, incomplete, fraudulent or unauthorized, LapBazar may:

Hold the order;
Cancel the order;
Stop dispatch;
Recover the product where legally permitted; or
Take appropriate action through the payment provider or relevant authorities.

Order Acceptance and Cancellation

LapBazar may refuse or cancel an order where:

The product is unavailable;
A price or stock error is identified;
Payment cannot be verified;
Customer information is incomplete or incorrect;
Delivery cannot reasonably be arranged;
Fraud or misuse is suspected;
The order violates these terms; or
An operational, technical or security issue prevents fulfilment.

Where LapBazar cancels an order after receiving payment, the applicable amount will be refunded according to our Return and Refund Policy.

Customers should contact LapBazar as soon as possible to request cancellation.

Cancellation is normally possible before dispatch. Once a product has been reserved, prepared or dispatched, courier or processing costs may apply as described in our policies.

Shipping and Delivery

LapBazar provides free standard nationwide shipping on eligible orders.

Delivery is subject to:

Courier coverage;
Correct customer information;
Payment verification;
Product availability;
Weather and road conditions;
Security restrictions;
Public holidays; and
Other circumstances outside LapBazar’s reasonable control.

Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Receiving and Inspecting an Order

The customer or an authorized person should be available to receive the parcel.

Customers should:

Check the recipient details;
Inspect the outer packaging;
Keep courier labels and packaging;
Record an unboxing video where possible; and
Test the product promptly after delivery.

If a parcel appears opened, damaged, incomplete or incorrect, the customer should contact LapBazar immediately and preserve the available evidence.

Product Testing

LapBazar may test products before dispatch, including their:

Basic hardware functionality;
Display;
Keyboard and touchpad;
Memory;
Storage;
Charging;
Ports;
Connectivity;
Serial number;
Physical condition; and
Included charger or accessories.

Pre-dispatch testing does not guarantee that a product will never develop a fault. Eligible faults remain subject to the applicable checking period or product-specific warranty.

Checking Warranty

Unless a different period is stated on the individual product page, eligible used laptops, tablets and computers include a 10-calendar-day checking warranty.

The checking period begins on the date the customer receives or collects the product.

Customers must report an eligible fault within the applicable period and follow the claim process described in our Warranty and Checking Policy.

Product-Specific Warranty

Some products may include a longer warranty, such as a three-month, six-month or one-year warranty.

A longer warranty applies only where it is clearly stated in:

The product listing;
The invoice;
The order confirmation; or
A written warranty document.

A longer warranty does not automatically extend the return or refund period. Claims after the initial checking period may be resolved through repair, component replacement or product replacement, depending on the applicable warranty terms.

Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by LapBazar’s Return and Refund Policy.

Eligible return requests may include cases where a product:

Has a covered functional fault;
Is the wrong item;
Is materially different from the confirmed listing;
Arrives incomplete; or
Is damaged during delivery, subject to verification.

Returns are not automatically accepted for:

Change of mind;
Software preferences;
Unconfirmed compatibility requirements;
Disclosed cosmetic condition;
Normal battery ageing;
Customer-caused physical damage;
Liquid damage;
Unauthorized repair; or
Other excluded issues listed in our policies.

No product should be sent back without prior authorization.

Repair, Replacement and Refund Priority

Depending on the product, fault, applicable warranty and available stock, LapBazar may offer:

Troubleshooting;
Repair;
Component replacement;
Replacement with the same model;
Replacement with an equivalent product;
Store credit; or
An approved refund.

A refund is not automatically available for every warranty claim, particularly after the initial return or checking period has ended.

Nothing in these terms limits a remedy that must be provided under applicable law.

Battery and Consumable Components

Batteries are consumable components whose performance normally reduces with age and use.

Unless a particular battery condition or backup duration is guaranteed in writing:

Battery timing is not guaranteed;
Normal battery degradation is not considered a product fault;
Battery life may vary according to usage, brightness, Wi-Fi, applications and power settings; and
Replacement of an ageing but functional battery is not included.

Accessories and consumable items are covered only where a warranty is expressly stated.

Software, Data and Compatibility

Unless expressly stated, LapBazar does not guarantee:

Compatibility with every application or peripheral;
Specific operating-system preferences;
Third-party software licensing;
Customer-installed applications;
Data recovery;
Virus or malware removal;
Password recovery; or
Performance after unauthorized software or hardware modification.

Customers should confirm critical software and hardware requirements before ordering.

Customers are responsible for backing up their data before submitting a device for inspection, repair or replacement.

Customer Accounts

Customers may create an account on LapBazar.pk.

Customers are responsible for:

Providing accurate information;
Keeping login credentials secure;
Restricting unauthorized account access; and
Informing LapBazar if account misuse is suspected.

LapBazar may suspend or close an account used for:

Fraud;
Abuse;
False orders;
Repeated parcel refusal;
Unauthorized access;
Website interference; or
Another unlawful activity.

Acceptable Website Use

You must not use LapBazar.pk to:

Commit fraud;
Place false or malicious orders;
Attempt unauthorized access;
Introduce malware or harmful code;
Scrape or copy protected content without authorization;
Interfere with website operation;
Misrepresent your identity;
Violate another person’s rights; or
Engage in unlawful activity.

LapBazar may restrict access or take appropriate action where misuse is suspected.

Reviews and Customer Content

Customers may submit genuine reviews, questions, photographs or other content where these features are available.

Submitted content must not:

Be false or misleading;
Contain unlawful material;
Infringe intellectual-property rights;
Contain malware;
Publish another person’s private information;
Include abusive or discriminatory material; or
Misrepresent a commercial relationship.

LapBazar may moderate or remove content that violates these requirements.

LapBazar will not create or publish fake customer reviews.

Intellectual Property

The LapBazar name, website design, written content, graphics, photographs, logos and other website materials are owned by or licensed to LapBazar unless otherwise stated.

You may use the website for personal shopping and informational purposes.

You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, commercially exploit or falsely represent LapBazar content without prior permission, except where permitted by law.

Brand names and trademarks belonging to manufacturers remain the property of their respective owners.

Third-Party Services and Links

LapBazar may use or link to third-party services, including:

Courier companies;
Payment providers;
Social-media platforms;
Mapping services;
Communication services; and
Manufacturer websites.

LapBazar does not control every aspect of third-party services and is not responsible for their independent terms, outages, security practices or content.

Use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider’s terms and policies.

Privacy and Personal Information

LapBazar may collect and use personal information required to:

Process orders;
Verify payments;
Arrange delivery;
Provide customer support;
Handle warranty claims;
Prevent fraud; and
Meet legal or operational requirements.

Customers must not submit another person’s information without authorization.

Availability of the Website

LapBazar aims to keep the website available and accurate but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Access may be affected by:

Maintenance;
Hosting issues;
Internet outages;
Cybersecurity events;
Software errors;
Third-party service failure; or
Circumstances outside our control.

LapBazar may modify, suspend or discontinue a website feature where reasonably necessary.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LapBazar will not be responsible for indirect or consequential loss resulting from:

Customer misuse;
Unauthorized repair;
Data loss;
Software incompatibility;
Business interruption;
Third-party services;
Customer-provided incorrect information; or
Events outside LapBazar’s reasonable control.

LapBazar’s responsibility for an accepted product claim will generally be limited to the remedies available under the applicable warranty, return policy and law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Events Outside Reasonable Control

LapBazar will not be treated as having breached these terms where performance is delayed or prevented by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including:

Natural disasters;
Flooding;
Severe weather;
Road closures;
Security restrictions;
Government action;
Strikes;
Courier disruption;
Telecommunications failure;
Power failure;
Public-health emergencies; or
Major technical outages.

LapBazar will take reasonable steps to communicate and resume fulfilment where possible.

Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Customers should first contact LapBazar with their order details and a clear description of the issue.

LapBazar will attempt to review and resolve the matter through communication, troubleshooting, inspection, repair, replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.

Nothing in these terms prevents a customer from using a consumer forum, court, regulator or other remedy available under applicable law.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of Pakistan.

Disputes will be handled by the courts, consumer forums or other authorities having lawful jurisdiction over the matter.

Nothing in this section removes a customer’s right to approach an authority or forum that has mandatory jurisdiction under applicable law.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

The affected provision will be interpreted or adjusted only as far as necessary to make it lawful and enforceable.

No Waiver

If LapBazar does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms and Conditions, this does not mean that the provision has been waived.

A waiver will only apply where it is clearly confirmed in writing.

Changes to These Terms

LapBazar may update these Terms and Conditions when products, services, payment arrangements, policies, operations or legal requirements change.

Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

The terms confirmed at the time an order is accepted will generally apply to that order, except where a change is required by applicable law.
