Warranty and Checking Policy

LapBazar.pk carefully inspects and tests every used laptop, tablet, computer, and electronic device before dispatch. This policy explains the checking period, warranty coverage, exclusions, and claim procedure.

1. Checking Warranty

Unless a different warranty period is clearly mentioned on the product page or invoice, eligible used laptops include a 7-day checking warranty starting from the date the order is delivered.

The checking warranty allows the customer to test the device for covered functional hardware faults.

2. What the Checking Warranty Covers

The checking warranty may cover functional faults in the following components when the fault existed at the time of delivery:

  • Motherboard
  • Display
  • Keyboard
  • Touchpad
  • RAM
  • Storage drive
  • Charging port
  • Wi-Fi
  • Speakers
  • Built-in webcam
  • USB and other listed ports

Coverage applies only to features and components specifically mentioned in the product description or invoice.

3. What Is Not Covered

The checking warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage after delivery
  • Cracked screens or damaged body parts
  • Liquid or moisture damage
  • Electrical damage caused by voltage fluctuation
  • Damage caused by an incorrect charger or accessory
  • Accidental drops, pressure, misuse, or negligence
  • Software, driver, virus, password, or operating-system issues
  • Deleted data or data loss
  • Reduced battery timing or normal battery degradation
  • Cosmetic scratches, marks, dents, or signs of use already disclosed
  • Damage caused by opening, repairing, or modifying the device through another person or repair shop
  • Accessories unless separately stated on the invoice
  • Change-of-mind returns

Battery backup varies according to usage, brightness, applications, device age, and operating conditions. A specific battery warranty applies only when explicitly stated on the product page or invoice.

4. Product Condition

LapBazar.pk sells used, imported, refurbished, open-box, and new devices depending on availability.

Used devices may have normal cosmetic signs such as minor scratches, marks, or wear. The product condition, major cosmetic issues, included accessories, and known limitations will be stated on the product page, invoice, or shared with the customer before confirmation.

5. Reporting a Problem

A customer must report a covered fault within the applicable checking-warranty period.

To submit a claim, contact LapBazar.pk through WhatsApp and provide:

  • Order number
  • Customer name
  • Product model
  • Clear description of the fault
  • Pictures or a video showing the issue
  • Picture of the serial number or identification label

The customer should stop using the device if continued use may cause further damage.

6. Inspection Process

After receiving a warranty claim, LapBazar.pk may first provide troubleshooting instructions.

Where physical inspection is required, the customer must return or bring the device to LapBazar.pk in the same condition in which it was delivered, together with the supplied charger and accessories.

The device will be inspected to determine whether the issue is covered under this policy.

7. Warranty Resolution

For a verified covered fault, LapBazar.pk may provide one of the following solutions depending on the issue and stock availability:

  • Repair of the device
  • Replacement with the same or an equivalent device
  • Store credit
  • Refund when repair or suitable replacement is not reasonably available

The appropriate resolution will be determined after technical inspection.

8. Return Delivery Charges

If a genuine covered fault is confirmed, LapBazar.pk will handle return-delivery charges according to the agreed claim process.

If no covered fault is found, or the issue falls under an exclusion, delivery and inspection expenses may be payable by the customer.

Customers must not send a parcel without first receiving return instructions from LapBazar.pk.

9. Warranty Cancellation

The warranty becomes invalid if:

  • The warranty label or serial label is removed or damaged
  • The device is opened or repaired by another technician
  • Parts are changed without written approval
  • The device is physically or electrically damaged
  • The customer fails to follow the return instructions
  • The returned serial number does not match the sold device

10. Different Product Warranty

Some products may include a longer or shorter warranty depending on the item, condition, supplier, or manufacturer.

Where a product page or invoice specifies a different warranty period, the warranty written on that product page or invoice will apply.
